Tepín Pods

Tepín, often considered the wild ancestor of Pequin, is medium red with a round shape. Also known as Chiltepín, this thin-fleshed chile has a dry, intense flavor with a typical SHU range of 50,000 to 100,000. Tepín chile is grown in the Sonora region.
