Chipotle Meco

Chipotle is a medium, thick-fleshed chile pepper. Chocolate brown in color, this pepper has a smoky, yet sweet flavor with tobacco and chocolate tones. Processed in Chihuahua, Chipotle has a wrinkled appearance with a typical SHU range of 15,000 to 30,000. Morita and Meco are two of the most commonly used varieties of Chipotle.
